A while back Google Now introduced reminders and you can now use this feature to create and set up reminders in just a couple of seconds.

Step 1: Open Google Assistant
You can open Google Assistant by pressing for a couple of seconds on the back button – or other shortcuts specific to your Android device. After you open the app, select the menu by clicking on the icon in the right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Set Your Reminder
If you don’t have this option already on the menu, you can search for it in the search bar, or by voice commands. After you find it, you will have the option of typing it the details of your reminder.

This one is perhaps more intuitive than the Google Assistant method. While you’re not setting up a reminder per se, you can create an event or a countdown that you will be reminded of whenever you need to.
