What to look for in a Motorola phone?

First things first:

When comparing phones, we need to consider which one gives the best value for our money. Hence, we used some criteria like the price.

You have to ask yourself…

“Do the specs live up to its price point?”

Another thing is the camera. Whether you’re a professional photographer or just interested in taking an occasional selfie, it’s always nice to have an HD camera, right?

Not only that…

We also need to take note of the processor.

Whether you are a devoted gamer and need a powerful phone or you simply just don’t want your phone to freeze when opening an app, RAM and Internal StorageBattery Life and other desired features.

With that being said…

Let’s dig into the list and find out which Motorola phone suits you best!

Great design for a small price

So here’s the thing…

The Motorola Z3 is the first cellphone device that you can upgrade to a 5G network! Of course with the use of 5G Moto Mod.

Not only that.

This device has 6.1 inches Super AMOLED Display on top of its 3000mAh battery capacity.

What’s the catch?

Well, the 5G Moto Mod can be bulky for some.

Now, compared to its pros – the low prices, its excellent display, and HD camera, also not to mention the Moto Mods compatibility – it makes an excellent bargain for flexibility seekers!

2. Moto G7: Performance Like No Other!

It’s not a secret…

The Moto G7 is one of Motorola’s flagship devices. Of course, it’s gonna be good!

Now, it has everything you would want from a smartphone, making it one of the best mid-range phones you can buy.

On top of all that…

It has a respectable improvement in design and performance, compared to the older Motorola phones.

But what’s more impressive?

Its 6.2-inch, bright edge-to-edge display, and the 1.8Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset backed up by 4GB of RAM, ready to run demanding games smoothly.

And yes, there’s more!

Moto G7 brings a couple of advantages to the table, such as its large display and a massive battery, as well as a great camera and splash resistance.

The only downside is…

Its notch isn’t the best which tends to make the device slip from your hand at times. (Or maybe I’m just clumsy.)

3. Moto G6: Best Picture Quality for Picture-Perfect Moments

Let’s get it straight.

With this phone, Motorola aimed to bring the features you’d normally expect on a high-end phone but with a cheaper price tag.

So now…

We have an 18:9 display ratio, a dual-sensor rear camera, fast charging and more features you’d normally see on a flagship.

Not only that.

Moto G6 is snappy and performs well with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset, even with only 3GB of RAM – the phone is designed for seekers of the best technology on the market but who also want a budget phone.

Amazing, right?

The only thing I don’t like is…

The lack of a wireless-charging option.

But hey, it’s not a big thing!

It makes up for it with its enabling TurboCharge, a great Dual camera, an excellent display, and also a nice glass body with water-repellent coating.

4. Moto G7 Power: Long-Lasting High Performance

Come on, let’s be honest!

Aside from its attractive near-pure Android interface, this phone’s biggest attribute is the battery life.

Now, look at this:

As for the hardware features, they are very similar to the Moto G7, except for 1GB of RAM missing.

But don’t you worry!

It makes up for that with the whopping 5000mAh battery life that lasts up to three days on a single charge.

Who wouldn’t want that, right?!

5. Moto G7 Plus: Best Motorola Phone for your Money’s Worth!

Moving on to the next item, we have Moto G7 Plus.

Instead of having a larger screen, as most “Plus” phones, Motorola puts more niche things like faster charging, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0 or OIS.

On top of that…

Motorola also added a fast fingerprint scanner, USB-C charging, and NFC, while also packing excellent software, incredibly similar to stock Android.

Cool, isn’t it?

Not to mention, performance-wise, the Moto G7 Plus brings to the table a Snapdragon 636 CPU and an Adreno 509 graphics chipset.

This means only one thing…

The Moto G7 Plus can handle high-end games and applications.

Want a gaming phone but on a budget?

Well, worry no more because the Moto G7 Play got you covered!

And believe me, this is quite impressive.

Now, though it’s built of mainly plastic, it has a smart design that makes it look more premium than it is.

Packing a Snapdragon 632, backed up by 2GB of RAM, it’s not the fastest on the market, but it still provides a decent budget mobile experience.

Great build and design

I’m not gonna lie.

There is a balance between the pros and cons of this phone. It has only 2GB of RAM, an underpowered GPU.

But look…

It compensates with having an excellent battery life, great build, and design, as well as Vanilla Android and 4K video available.

But how well does it perform?

Well, it packs inside a 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 630 chipset with 4 GB of RAM, meaning that this phone will be responsive through intensive tasks and some demanding games.

Alexa, turn off the lights.

Yes, you heard that right because the Moto X4 is Alexa-compatible!

But there’s more to this phone than that.

The Moto X4, Motorola has found the magic recipe for a budget phone with a great camera! It can even compete with its rival’s flagship devices.

Look:

It brings along a sleek design and water resistance, although the glossiness results in a lot of fingerprints and smudges.

In terms of performance…

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and the Adreno 508 graphics chipset, this phone will provide you the best midrange efficiency.

This is one of the best budget phones available out there. The design and build quality are impressive, along with some other features.

As Motorola already accustomed us, this phone runs a reasonably pure Android, with only a few preinstalled apps it will give you more storage, even though it is not updatable to Android 9.

Now, this:

As for performance, as expected at this price, Moto E5 brings to the table an entry-level experience, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and only 2 GB of RAM.

  1. Hey,
I have the Moto G7 Play, I UPDATED from the G6 Play, anddd I absolutely love it!!! I DO WISH I WOULDA read THIS FIRST!! I woulda got the Moto G7 Power.. I wanna say they WERE around the SAME price, a little more for the Power, but I see THAT it woulda BEEN worth it!! However I’m OVERALL HAPPY with the Moto G7 Play! I’ve HAD way WORSE phones BEFORE! I’m NOT INTO iPhones, I’ve HAD a Galaxy BEFORE and it WASN’T REALLY ALL THAT, I’d PICK THIS one OVER the Galaxy 3, I think is the ONE I had! I PAID a lot more for the Galaxy than THIS one anddd I REFUSE to spend THAT much money on a phone AGAIN! Especially when it BARELY lasted me a year, lol, No thanks! I totally agree with THIS post tho, Just wish I would’ve SAW it BEFORE GOING to buy mine! I’m ONLY SAYING that CAUSE I didn’t see MUCH a difference WHEN I went and the employee DIDN’T know what the BEST one WAS, but I’m STILL HAPPY! Gonna bookmark your page for future reference! Thanks

  2. I have enjoyed using my Moto G 3rd unlocked phone for 4 years. The brand is remarkably reliable and easy to use. However, the battery recharge doesn’t last as long now and the charging connection port doesn’t work as well. Reluctantly, I need to upgrade and want to buy another Motorola. The camera and game-playing features are less important to me than longer battery life and more storage, so your reviews above were very helpful, thanks.

  3. Hi☺️ I recently bought a Motorola G7 Optimo Maxx phone and I love the features, BUT the problem with it is the fact that it crashes and turns off on its own, apps take forever to download, apps tend to crash all the time and I am really frustrated with this. My storage space is so far from being full so I don’t know why the phone acts up. Is there any way that this problem can be fixed?

    1. trouble shooting sometimes helps. And if it dont. call the manufacturer. And ask them to fix it on their end
