Of course. You can update the OS of your TV by visiting https://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000018-1430510575535-firmware-or-software-update. But don’t get too hyped up as some OS cannot be updated. This would depend on your TV model.

The LG ThinQ app sees the tv just fine, and my Apple phone can play video to the tv, but my Apple Home Mini shows it as Offline. How do I fix this?
The first thing you should check is if they are connected in the same network or wifi. If they are and it still shows offline, do compatibility check amongst the said product.
This doesn’t seem to work at all.
My tv is registered, but there is no “set up google assistant” application on my home menu of the TV.
Additionally, this guide doesn’t seem to make any sense in regards to setting up the google home app. There is no “menu” button. Maybe you refer to to three dots? If so, you don’t have any search option to search for home control.
Overall I can’t stand google’s home control as I was able to get apple HomeKit working for every smart device in my house in less than ten minutes.
