The current time limit to delete messages in WhatsApp is 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds. The updated duration to delete messages remains unknown, but will extend the current limit by a significant margin. Also, WhatsApp group admins will gain the ability to delete messages from anyone in the group in an upcoming update.
