Method 1: Key Combination
This method focuses on a specific key combination to take screenshot on HTC One. You’ll find this feature on most Android phones and you just need to press two keys. If you’re just looking to capture your screen without heavy customization and advanced features, this is the best method.
For the HTC One, there are two ways within this method to capture the screenshot. The first is Android’s default key combination and the other is HTC’s key combination. You can use either to take the screenshots.
Go to the screen you want to capture. For example, you can go to Whatsapp and open your conversation.
Press and hold the Volume Down and Power button at the same time. Keep on holding the buttons until you hear a camera shutter or see a notification. This is the Android key combination method. For using the other key combination, press and hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until you see a notification or hear a camera shutter sound. That’s it! You have successfully taken a screenshot on your HTC One.

Once you’re done with the settings, tap on the Start the service button to enable Screenshot HD.
